National award-winning director Omung Kumar is busy making the biopic of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The movie needs a lot of thinking while selecting actors as they will portray real-life people on screen. So, finding actors for the biopic is a tough job. In this case, Kumar’s job has become a little easier as the actor selected for the role of Ratan Tata has already got this compliment that he resembles Tata. Can you guess the name? Boman Irani! Boman has been roped in for the role of Ratan Tata. He has also joined the cast of the film in Ahmedabad. Speaking about his role Boman said,
“I have always received comments on social media that I resemble Mr. Ratan Tata. I always thought the day the character comes along, I will be more than happy to play it. S when Omung, Sandip, and Vivek called me for the role, I immediately agreed to do it. We have already shot my part and it went very well”.
Besides Boman, Prashant Narayan will be seen portraying the role of business tycoon Aditya Reddy. While Vivek Oberoi will be seen in the role of Narendra Modi, Barkha Bisht will play Modi’s wife Jashodaben and Wahida Rahman to play the role of his mother Heeraben. Actors, Darshan Rawal, Akshat R. Saluja, Anjan Shrivastav, Rajendra Gupta, Yatin Karyekar, and Manoj Joshi are also a part of this film. The movie is about the journey of Narendra Modi from the chief minister of Gujrat to the nation’s prime minister.
