Srijit Mukherji is back with some good news for all the Kakababu fans. After ‘Mishawr Rawhoshyo’ and ‘Yeti Obhijaan’, the director is ready for a puja surprise with his next segment of Kakababu’s franchise, which will see Prosenjit Chatterjee return an audience’s favorite Kakababu, and Raja Roy Chowdhury, after a huge gap of two years. The film titled as ‘Kakababur Protyabortan’, is said to be an adaptation of ‘Jangoler Moddhe Ek Hotel’ from Sunil Gangopadhyay’s famous Kakababu series. The film, which will be shot extensively in the forests of Kenya and South Africa, will also see Aryann Bhowmik return as Santu.
Prosenjit said,
I am so happy that Kakababu is coming back next puja. This character is really close to my heart. After being to deserts and mountains, this time Kakababu will be exploring the jungles. I'm really looking forward to it. The last two films on Kakababu were lapped up by the audience and I am sure the next one too will be loved by one and all.
Apart from Prosenjit and Aryann, Anirban Bhattacharya is the only Bengali face in the cast. Besides these three, the rest of the cast will have actors from Kenya and South Africa.
