Recently, Khatun and Apratim’s ‘Lost Luna’ received the Best Short Film, Gold Award at the New York City Indie Film Awards, January 2020 in the category- Best Short Film. It is a bilingual short film and is in both Bengali and English. Gulshanara’s character is named as ‘Durga’, who is a babysitter hailing from a remote village in Jharkhand. Khatun plays the lead in this short film; talking about her character and this achievement, the talented actor shares,

I am extremely happy to share this news with our well-wishers. Our director, Apratim, has helped me a lot in essaying the role. He will be busy in February for his next, so they are sending the award to Kolkata by the end of this month.”
