Avengers Endgame Tickets sale reaches a peak in India

On 21st April, Sunday, Avengers: Endgame ticket booking kick-started in India, and within few hours, tickets of opening day, 26th April, were sold out in major metropolises. Booking platforms like BookMyShow and PayTM started online services at 12 pm, and in few hours, tickets went out, and fans complaining about; price hike in tickets, site crashing due to booking rush, and not getting tickets mostly. However, additional screenings are expected to be added to keep up with the demand. On BookMyShow, over 1.2 million users have already listed themselves as ‘interested’ in watching the film. A Marvel Movie marathon screening is expected to happen in a specific location, with 22 MCU films to be screened, but the runtime of Avengers: Endgame makes it a problem for the rest of the movies to be squeezed into one day time. Many fans also took to social media to express their disappointments with the ticket price hike in every screening venue. The film has already broken pre-release records in the US, according to online ticketing platforms such as Fandango and Atom Tickets, selling more tickets in the first 24 hours than previous Marvel films Captain Marvel and Infinity War combined, in addition to films such as Venom and Aquaman. The ensemble cast if the movie includes, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Karen Gillian, Brie Larson to name a few. The movie releases in India on 26th April.
