Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming project is a biopic on the first woman combat pilot of India, Gunjan Saxena. The biopic is titled as ‘Kargil Girl’. Gunjan joined the armed forces after her graduation. She is the first combat pilot of the country who evacuated the injured soldiers during the Kargilwar in 1999.
Now new news has been released about the film that Angad Bedi will also star in the film as Janhvi’s elder brother. Like Gunjan’s real-life brother Anshuman Saxena Angad will be seen portraying the role of an army officer. Pankaj Tripathi will also be there in the film playing the role of their father.
Angad and Janhvi started the shoot already and they were spotted shooting together on the streets of Nirala Nagar, Lucknow. Earlier, Janhvi shared a picture of her from the set, we are all waiting for more such glimpses of her as Gunjan Saxena.
Janhvi debuted last year opposite Ishan Khattar in ‘Dhadak’. She will also be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’, which is a period drama featuring, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, and others.
