Alia Wants to Work In Bengali Movies

The cute, bubbly girl of Bollywood Alia Bhatt was in Kolkata to support her parents Soni Radan and Mukesh Bhatt for their film Yours Truly directed by Sanjay Nag. The talented actress was spotted in a candid mood, sporting a denim jacket over white top and black track pants, red fanny pack and block heels.

Talking about the film, it had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival on Sunday.

The sparkling actress expressed her joy of attending a press conference where her mother is the heroine and she is visiting as a family, whereas it has always been the other way round.

“Seeing my father and mother on screen for the first time has been both ajeeb and special for me”, she said. She went on to explain why Kolkata is her favorite city and gave a detail of the Bengali menu she ordered and how she is a “khane ki shaukeen” and how she feels “dil ka pet bhar jata hai”. She even said “ami tomake bhalobashi” when asked if she knows Bengali.

Her next words were something that the whole Tollywood would wish to happen soonest possible. The adorable Alia Bhatt said, “I would love to work with a Bengali director, work in a Bengali movie. If I can do all kinds of cinema in every kind of language and master every form of art and reach out to all your hearts, that’ll be my biggest dream and achievement come true.”
