The Assamese film ‘Village Rockstars’ will enter the Oscar 2019 in the foreign category. The announcement was made by the Film Federation of India (FFI).
Not Meghna Gulzar’s mega-hit ‘Raazi’ or Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Padmaavat’, but it is Director Rima Das’s movie that made the proud entry. It is heard that after watching 28 entries, the FFI panel judges rendered such decision.
